10 Kemerovo
In this city you will not be bored – there are interesting buildings, many squares, and what an embankment – you want to walk and dream! Kemerovo – the capital of the mining region, which is called Kuzbass. It is a vibrant city with a complex history.
Inspection usually begins with the square of M. Volkov, a miner who once discovered a coal deposit. Actually, his monument is erected on the square. Also in the city there is an interesting “Bridge of Lovers” on Vesennyaya Street.
By the way, upon arrival you can stay at the hotel “Kuzbass”. There are many art objects on Vesennyaya Street that definitely deserve attention: the sculptural compositions “The Cradle”, “At 6 pm after the war”, a bust of Leonov and others. Walking around Kemerovo and enjoying the views is a joy!
9. Tomsk
Tomsk – an ancient city with an indescribable atmosphere. It was founded in 1604. The historical part of the city attracts tourists and guests with architectural monuments. The pearl of an interesting city is wooden architecture.
Everything that may interest a tourist is mainly concentrated in the historical part of Tomsk, headed by the central street – Lenin Avenue. It is unlikely that someone will be interested in sleeping areas.

8. Novokuznetsk

Novokuznetsk constantly evolving: it is decorated, repaired, it is very pleasant to walk along the streets of Kirov, Metallurgists, Boulevard of Heroes and others. Residents are satisfied with their salaries (in comparison with the middle zone of Russia, they are 2 times higher).
Novokuznetsk is a historical city, it was founded in 1618. It is one of the largest coal mining and metallurgical centers of the country. In total, there are 6 districts – most of all tourists, and residents of the city like Central. Here are the main entertainments and in general it is very beautiful.
7. Barnaul
Is it worth coming to Barnaul? What can impress this city? Among the main advantages, one can list good transport interchanges, a large selection of work, beautiful places for walking, cultural attractions, etc.
Barnaul is rather a good choice for living – there is nothing special for a traveler to do here. You can ride a boat on the river, sit on the embankment or look into a cafe – depending on what you like.
Recently, the Siberian town has changed for the better – the views from the new bridge are magnificent! Upland Park has been restored and is a favorite place for both citizens and tourists.

6. Krasnoyarsk
Krasnoyarsk – the most beautiful Siberian city on the Yenisei. It is especially pleasant to walk in the city center: well-groomed lawns, fountains… The most interesting for tourists will be the Ice Town – it is located on the embankment. The figurines here are made with great love!
The city is actively developing: there is a place to live, where to work, spend time and even where to get medical treatment. Krasnoyarsk is considered a student city: there are many educational institutions, there are 29 universities alone.
Of course, what tourists come for is sightseeing, in Krasnoyarsk you can look at the Communal Bridge, the Bobrovy Log fun park, the clock tower, visit the Krasnoyarsk Stolby nature reserve, the Roev Ruchey zoo and others.
5. Tobolsk
This city is one of the most beautiful in Siberia, located in the Tyumen region. Tobolsk – the former capital of the Siberian province, rich in events + interest in it increased after the book “Tobol” by Alexei Ivanov (about the Russian conquest of Siberia).
Why go to this city? The history of the development of Siberia is very interesting – it’s one thing to listen to stories, it’s quite another to “touch” history, take a walk along the streets … However, it’s worth considering that it’s very cold here in winter, so it’s unlikely that you will be able to enjoy the walk.
Having chosen weather that is more or less favorable for walking, travelers are advised to see the Kremlin, the Treasury Chamber, the architectural ensemble “Miracle-Yudo fish-whale”, the Zavalnoye cemetery and much more in Tobolsk. You may also be interested in Abalak – this is a village where a real Siberian expanse reigns, located about 20 km from the city.
4. Omsk
What can you say about this wonderful Siberian city? Omsk – a city of a million people, in which there are many establishments for every taste. Here you can have fun, but not in the off-season – it is difficult to get through and drive.
The city is located on the Om and Irtysh rivers – one of the largest oil refineries is located here (in 3rd place in Europe). Many Kazakhs live in the city, because it is not far from Kazakhstan.
There are not so many beautiful houses and buildings in Omsk, but unlike other cities, the center stands out. The historical center is being restored and developed. True, there is nothing to see outside the center – ordinary sleeping areas.
3. Irkutsk
The capital of Eastern Siberia gladly welcomes all guests! Irkutsk – the pearl of Russia, most tourists get to Baikal through it. According to the sources, the city was founded in 1661, many events took place here.
If you want to come here, you should take into account that Irkutsk is a harsh Siberian city. It is very cold here in winter, so bring warm clothes with you! In summer, the city looks very green, it is divided into 2 parts by the Angara River.
The first thing that catches the eye of every tourist is architecture. In Irkutsk, there is an abundance of 2- and 1-storey houses, and they are all in different conditions. The most popular street is the 130th block. Located in the city center and included in the excursion program.
Interesting fact: 4 of the 10 longest rivers in the world flow in Siberia: Yenisei, Ob, Lena and Amur.
2. Tyumen
Many who have had the pleasure of visiting Tyumen, call this city the best in Russia! And some even the best on Earth. The city is rich in squares and parks – there are definitely places to take a walk. You can walk along the streets and see the square – and each of them is well-groomed, in good condition.
Tourists and residents love to walk along the embankment, which is illuminated, which is nice – many squares and parks have free toilets. There are many places for recreation with children in the city – there are convenient playgrounds.
Tyumen is the first Russian city in Siberia. The first thing you can hear about the city is the “capital of the villages”, there really are a lot of houses here: wooden, decorated with carvings. The embankment is certainly the pearl of the urban landscape. Tourists offer to come here and admire the architecture. But besides it, you will definitely find something else to see!
1. Novosibirsk
Novosibirsk is a dynamic young city that is friendly to travelers. The city was founded in 1893, but received city status only in 1903. It only took him 70 years to become a millionaire! In 1893 it was a village.
Novosibirsk has the longest straight street in the world – Krasny Prospekt (7 km). The shortest one is also here – this is Sibstroyputi (40 m). The Novosibirsk metro bridge is also the longest in the world.
You can see a lot in Novosibirsk and with great interest visit the Globus Theater, the Dynamo swimming pool, the complex of baths located here from time immemorial. It is a great pleasure to walk in the Quiet Center and look at the old buildings that have seen the development of the city.
