You may also be interested in the David Sheldrick Orphanage – an elephant rescue center. Visitors are allowed for an hour, you can even adopt a baby elephant for a small donation.
Nairobi is a very diverse city. In the center, all areas look European, and on the outskirts, real slums are for extreme tourists. Compared to other African cities, it is relatively safe here.
2. Bazaruto
Archipelago Bazaruto includes 5 idyllic islands, without exaggeration, this is the most beautiful place on the entire African continent. Two of the five are the smallest, uninhabited, and the rest have villages where it is nice to take a walk.
You can get to Bazaruto through Johannesburg, and moving between the islands is possible only by boat. It is interesting to see everything here: coral reefs are chosen by fish and marine mammals.
If you wish, you can also ride a horse here – horseback riding is carried out on the island of Benguerra. The area is incredibly beautiful, fabulous – one gets the impression that he was in some kind of movie.
