Rome. Years after the war. Antonio is unemployed, but he miraculously manages to find a job. The joy is that to work in the company you need a bicycle, and the man just has it. It makes it much easier to send letters.
But on the very first day of work, someone steals a bicycle from Antonio. A man fears for his future – without a job he will become homeless. But he won’t give up just like that!
Antonio decides to find the thief on his own and get his vehicle back. He takes his little son Bruno with him and, in search of a bicycle, decides to go around every house, every nook and cranny … Will the heroes manage to find the thief and return the bike?

1. Tokyo Tale by Yasujiro Ozu | 1953
An elderly couple is heading to Tokyo. They are going to visit their son, who is a successful doctor, and their daughter has her own beauty salon. But the children have their own worries and do not have time to be with their parents, so they send them to the resort.
After the couple has been at the resort, the couple return to Tokyo. It turns out that only the widow of another son, whom the couple met, was able to give the elderly what they lack so much – love and attention.
