10 Murinsky park
Do you have a scooter or other means of transportation? Come to Murinsky park, which is located on Grazhdansky Prospekt, to ride for fun. Probably, you will have the same feeling as vacationers: there is some kind of understatement in this park … As if the park is about to tell something!

Here you will see something that will arouse your genuine interest: palaces, alleys and sculptures!
The garden of Peter I is called “summer”, but why did it get such a name? The fact is that at one time the emperor began to plant the garden with annual plants “summer”, hence the name. Entrance to the garden is free, there is a plan at the entrance – you can look so as not to get lost. However, this will not work for you – signs are placed everywhere. Most of all, visitors are attracted by the Karpiev Pond – every romantic person dreams of seeing swans!
8. Alexandrovsky Park
Another stunning park invites everyone to stay away from the noisy city and enjoy the tranquility that reigns here. Alexandrovsky Park, which is located in the Pushkin district on Sadovaya, 7, an ideal place for leisurely walks. The entire territory is located next to the Peter and Paul Fortress.
Signs are placed throughout the park – do not be afraid to get lost! Another nice bonus is that you can ride a bike into the park, because walking long distances is not very convenient. Regarding the infrastructure of the park, it is excellent: everywhere there are garbage cans and benches, latrines. At the entrance, visitors are first greeted by the Tsarskoye Selo Palace, built in 1792-1796. It is surrounded by a system of ponds – it looks especially charming in autumn in autumn foliage!
7. Tauride Gardens
This park is located in the Central area – an ideal place for a relaxing holiday. Tauride Gardens, where it is easy to breathe – one of the most famous green areas in the city. 6. Catherine Park
This park is incredibly beautiful, just breathtaking! Walking along it causes a lot of emotions. The park surrounds Catherine Palace. At any time of the year, the park is worthy of attention. It is worth noting that the entrance to the Catherine Park is paid (about 150-200 rubles). The park was designed in the 3th century on the model of European ones: there are both landscape and regular parts. They are both beautiful. Among the main attractions are, of course, the Catherine Palace, the Upper Bath pavilion, the Grotto pavilion, the Hermitage and others. The main decoration of the park is a marble bridge.
5. Park of Culture and Leisure. Kirov
This park is one of the favorites for both residents of St. Petersburg and guests. Rest in Park of Culture and Leisure. Kirov good at any time of the year, it is open daily from 6:00 to 22:00, located on Dunaevsky street, 5a. Here everyone will find something to do for themselves: there is a playground for children, adults can visit the Elagin Palace.

4. Mikhailovsky Garden
In the center of St. Petersburg on Sadovaya there is a wonderful place called Mikhailovsky Garden. This is a great place for walking – you can come here in your free time to be alone with your thoughts, sit on a bench and relax. There is a pond, a cute bridge, you can feed the birds, including ducks, pigeons and seagulls – choose at your discretion!
As a rule, the Mikhailovsky Garden is free from the crowds of tourists (they mostly choose the Summer Garden to visit), so here you can enjoy the tranquility, breathing in the fresh air and being in silence. Entrance to the garden is free, deserted shady alleys invite you to stroll along them for pleasure. By all means, your attention will fall on the pedunculate oak growing in the Butter Meadow – a sign not far from it says that the tree is more than 278 years old, that is, it was planted during the reign of Elizabeth.
3. New holland
The famous park of St. Petersburg, which joyfully welcomes guests, is located on the Admiralteisky Canal Embankment, 2, and is suitable for family holidays. New holland attractive with an abundance of flowers: there are flower beds with plants, and you can have picnics on a well-groomed lawn.
Entrance to the park is free, it is mainly famous for its frigate – a platform-ship for children and, accordingly, the opportunity to have a picnic. The main objects of the park: a forge, a bottle, a frigate, pavilions and more. The symbol of New Holland Island is the seagull. This bird is depicted everywhere here, and well – a very cute bird! But why exactly her? In 2011 Dima Pantyushin (Russian artist) visited the park. He visited the island, and a flock of seagulls swirled over his head. So the seagull “entrenched” in New Holland.
2. Oaks
One more park Oaks hospitable to visitors – there is good energy and comfort in every centimeter! The park is located in Sestroretsk and attracts visitors with its centuries-old history. If you visit the park in the summer, you will definitely be pleased with the ice cream that is sold at the entrance. Taking the desired horn in your hand, you can move on!
Oaks represent the Central Park of Sestroretsk, it is large, green, and its area occupies 60 and a half hectares! In this park of St. Petersburg, visitors are offered everything that is needed for a comfortable stay: benches, glades, children’s playgrounds and more. And the original paths will not know where they will lead, but they will definitely cause positive emotions! Dubki Park is historical first of all, it is a tribute to the founder of the city on the Neva – Peter I. It was he who noticed the oak grove in 1714 and ordered oak trees to be planted here.
1. Field of Mars
There is a park in one of the most beautiful cities in Russia Field of Mars – This is a great place to relax, located near the Trinity Bridge. In appearance, the park really resembles a field: when viewed from above, you can find that it is rectangular and has symmetrical paths. Under the tsars, there were military parades here, hence the name.
Now the Champ de Mars is a recreation area with benches and smooth paths generously supplemented with trees. In the park, you can safely lie on the grass, it pleases with a large territory. In addition, it is conveniently located, and guests often combine its visit with sightseeing, for example, the Russian Museum or the Church of the Savior on Blood. In the park itself there is an Eternal Flame and a memorial opened in 1917.
