I sometimes hear boasting, they say I watched 5 films in a day. Most often, it seems that a person spent the day uselessly. On the other hand, there are really good films worth watching for anyone who wants to put their thoughts and moods in order, think about important things, or just relax. Since my blog is about personal development, in this article I will advise you on what films to watch about charismatic people.

So, to business. I picked up 10 video films that I consider top. I recommend watching them to everyone.

1. The smell of a woman 1992 – IMDb: 8.00

The main character, Uncle Frank, is played by the incomparable Al Pacino. Watching this movie is a pleasure. At the beginning, the lieutenant colonel gives the impression of a vile and always grumbling old man who is dissatisfied with life due to the lack of the ability to see: he is blind. But when this old man flies to New York, stops at the Waldorf Astoria, performs a tango with a strange woman in a restaurant, the attitude towards the hero changes. The climax of the film is …………………………, which ………………………… thanks to the closeness of the lieutenant colonel to the student who accompanied him.

2. Bruce Almighty 2003 – IMDb: 6.70

If you are in a terrible mood, have no desire to do anything, but want to tear everything to shreds, turn on Bruce Almighty. The faces that Jim Carrey makes will not leave indifferent even the most embittered viewer. Even if you watch this movie without sound, the effect will be approximately the same. You will laugh to tears, I guarantee you!

In principle, I recommend watching films with Jim Carrey. He does an excellent job with the roles that are chosen for him. I think his charisma is half the success of the film.

3. Anger management 2003 – IMDb: 6.20

The main characters are played by Adam Sandler and Jack Nicholson. In this film, I pay great attention to the charisma of Jack Nicholson. Although I have seen him in quite serious roles, such as Hannibal Lecter or Patrick McMurphy (“One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest”, read below), in the film “Anger Management” he plays the most positive character, sometimes even funny. At some points, he resembles that bearded guy from The Hangover.

The point of the movie is that you can actually learn to manage your emotions, especially anger. One has only to succumb a little to one’s feelings, negativity or inner fury, life begins to teach cruel lessons.

I recommend watching a movie with your soulmate. It is quite fun, although it is based on a deep essence.

4. Gorgeous 1973 – IMDb: 7.30

A movie for couples in love, absolutely not burdensome, suitable for viewing with a disabled brain. The performance of Jean-Paul Belmondo is the first reason why you need to watch this movie.

I think the actor is truly talented. He manages to perform extravagant, ambiguous and strange characters, ready for rash acts. At the same time, they are funny and very charismatic.

5. Breakfast at Tiffany’s 1961 – IMDb: 7.70

If we talk about charismatic women, the first one I would like to mention is Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany’s. If you’ve seen this movie before, you know what I mean.

The actress herself is fragile, timid, graceful. But her character Miss Golightly is both the epitome of feminine beauty and eccentricity. She is looking for a rich boyfriend, but falls in love with her anti-ideal.

The movie is good, not intrusive. However, it makes you think. Breakfast at Tiffany’s is a classic. This is one of the first color films made in 1961 in the USA.

6 Fight Club 1999 – IMDb: 8.80

Based on the novel of the same name by Chuck Palahniuk. Three bright Hollywood stars are gathered here: Edward Norton, Brad Pitt and Helena Bonham Carter. It is difficult to distinguish which of them plays better and who is worse. Everyone in their place. In my opinion, the actors correspond to the characters described in the book.

The creation of secret societies called “Fight Club” across America is not the only branch of events. I really like deep dialogues about topical problems of society. This, of course, is the merit of Chuck Palahniuk. However, getting used to the role of psychopaths and conveying their problems is not an easy task.

A truly powerful film with an unpredictable ending!

7. Gladiator 2000 — IMDb: 8.50

One of my most favorite films. And here’s why: the emotions in the film, the very atmosphere and the spirit of a strong man will keep you in suspense throughout the entire viewing time. It will make you think about courage, the principles of honor and loyalty.

The film does not claim to be historically accurate, but I believe that the era of ancient Rome is very well reflected in it.

The charisma of General Maximus (played superbly by Russell Crowe) is simply unsurpassed. A man of few words and a strong man, by whose mere glance, people followed him. And it does not matter whether he was a general or became a simple gladiator slave.

I recommend viewing!

8. Madly in love 1981 – IMDb: 6.90

I dilute the list of spectacular films with a beautiful comedy called Madly in Love. Among male actors there is no equal Adriano Celentano, especially if he plays in tandem with Ornella Muti.

The hero falls madly in love with the princess of San Tulip, being a simple bus driver. Such a gentleman is not for her, so she tries in every possible way to reject him, at the same time not letting go.

The turn of events of a couple in love is very funny. Therefore, watch movies in a positive company.

In general, I recommend all films with Andriano Celentano. In my subjective opinion, this is one of the most charismatic actors of all time.

9. One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest 1975 – IMDb: 8.70

The painting “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest”, based on the book by Ken Kesey, will help you think about life, about the soul of a person and the meaning of his existence.

The character Patrick McMurphy, played by Jack Nicholson, is trying to change the foundations of a psychiatric hospital. He plans an escape with a deaf-mute Indian named Chief. Being completely healthy, McMurphy becomes a victim of these very foundations and acquires dementia.

10. The Good, the Bad, the Ugly 1966 – IMDb: 8.90

I complete the list with a spaghetti western filmed by Sergio Leone. Although the picture received controversial reviews and criticism, I really like it. What is the game of Clint Eastwood in this and other parts of the trilogy, as well as other westerns with his participation.

Eastwood is literally a professional cowboy. Follow his facial expressions, gestures and behavior — one feast for the eyes! After watching such films, I want to sit in the saddle and rush towards the wind!
