The meeting with his father brought the devastated blacksmith back to life. The baron invites his offspring to follow him and a detachment of crusaders to the Holy Land. Bilian agrees and together they head to Messina. During the campaign, a battle takes place in which the baron receives a mortal wound. Before his death, his father knights Bilian and takes a word from him, which obliges the heir to be faithful to Jerusalem and the king to the end.

First knight (1995) is one of the most worthy films about the knightly era. In the center of the plot is King Arthur, his beloved Guinevere of Lionesse and the knight of the Round Table Lancelot.
