Philip manages to fulfill his childhood dream, thanks to perseverance, the help of friends and his girlfriend Anya. The performance turned into an arrest for the tightrope walker for several days. After his release, the local authorities confined the tightrope walker to corrective labor, who now has to show performances for children. Soon, Ani leaves for her homeland, and Philip remains to live in the USA.
9. In the heart of the sea
“In the heart of the sea” is a 2015 American drama based on true events. The film is set on the whaling ship Essex. A group of people goes to the vastness of the ocean to hunt for a whale. Events turn out unfavorably for fishing enthusiasts: one of the sperm whales attacked the ship and the crew members had to leave the ship in a hurry. For three months, the sailors were in the open ocean thousands of kilometers from the coast, escaping in boats. The conditions in which fate put the sailors make them resort to cannibalism. The film received mixed reviews from film critics.
8. Battle for Sevastopol
“Battle for Sevastopol”- one of the best military dramas of 2015 from Russian cinema. In the center of the plot is the legendary female sniper Lyudmila Pavlichenko. In addition to the military theme, the theme of love plays an important role in the film. At the front, the girl will have to go through real trials, with which love will help her fight. Greg tries to support Rachel, who eventually becomes the closest person to him.
4. Spy Bridge
“Spy Bridge” is the best biographical drama of 2015 based on real events. The main character of the film is the Brooklyn lawyer James Donovan, who became a member of the CIA operation. James will meet with the Soviet authorities on the Glininsky Bridge and negotiate the exchange of the American pilot Gary Powers captured in the USSR for the Soviet spy Rudolf Abel. The operation, which took place during the Cold War, was quite risky and did not guarantee any success, but an experienced lawyer managed to successfully turn the deal. The film was nominated for an Oscar as Best Picture.

“The voice of the streets”- a biographical drama based on real events from the life of the legendary American band N.W.A. The star path of the guys who at the peak of their careers became one of the most popular in the music business is shown. In the center of the plot are five talented guys: Dr. Dre (Dr. Dre), Easy-I (Eazy-E), Ice Cube (Ice Cube), DJ Yella and MC Ren. After a successful single, producer Jerry Heller becomes their patron. The guys release their debut album Straight Outta Compton (“Straight Out of Compton”), which brings them worldwide fame. Money and popularity become a real test for musicians, and soon the group breaks up.

“Hateful Eight” is the best film by Quentin Tarantino, combining elements of drama, thriller, crime and detective. In the center of the plot is one of the legendary bounty hunters named Hangman John Ruth, who escorts the prisoner Daisy. On the way, another hunter is nailed to them. A raging snowstorm forces fellow travelers to cling to one of the local taverns on the outskirts, where he meets a general, a sheriff, a Mexican, a Frenchman, a cowboy and another visitor who pretends not to be who he really is. In this place, the hunter will discover incredible things.
1. Survivor
“Survivor” is the best film of 2015, combining several genres: thriller, drama and adventure. The action takes place in the natural environment of the Wild West. The main character, hunter Hugh Glass, is seriously wounded and cannot continue his journey. His partner John Fitzgerald leaves Hugh to die in cold blood. The wounded miraculously manages to stay alive and he is ready to fight to the end. All he wants is to get to the traitor and take revenge on him. The film was nominated for 12 Oscars.
