Great movie! This is where the movie adaptation is better than the book. It is amazing how the director of The Last Days of Pompeii managed to describe the full scale of the tragedy through the fate of the main characters in a rather short period of time. It turns out that special effects are not at all the main thing to impress the viewer.
In the film, we will see a touching love story between the blind girl Nadia and the handsome gladiator Lydon. We will also get acquainted with the history of Glaucus and the priestess Jonah. And we will also be shown the tragic fates of Yulia and Claudia, Peter and Chloe.
This series shows those things that cannot be treated indifferently: courage, undying love and self-sacrifice (a quality that many have long forgotten about).
