The main character of the story is Ludwig van Normayenne, he hunts for dark souls. Following the instructions of the Order of the Guardians, he is ready to complete any task, and the spirit of the Preacher and the animated Scarecrow make him company on his travels. Ludwig is striking in his positivity: he follows the rules, he believes that evil can be defeated. But while reading, you forget that this is a person, because the author deprived him of his shortcomings …
6. The Chronicles of Siala
Russian science fiction, as it turned out, can be very interesting and of high quality if a master of his craft undertakes to write it. Pekhov wrote “Chronicles of Siala” in the spirit of epic fantasy. This series consists of three books, thanks to which the reader can plunge into the world, it will be cooler than even Tolkien’s Middle-earth!
Are thief and hero incompatible concepts? Everything can be different! When you have to make a choice between the executioner’s ax and the Order for a walk in the gloomy burial grounds with elves in the forests, then sane people choose the first, but people like Garret dare to take the risk … He falls into an ancient dungeon, and from that moment the walker begins in search of a reward.
5. Junga with shadows
In addition to an entertaining plot, the book “Janga with shadows” interesting characters, the development of the main of them. If in the first book his faithful friend is darkness and a loaded crossbow, then the second part does not allow Garrett to be alone with himself: he goes to fulfill the royal order in the company, and its members become his friends.
The book tells about the fantastic adventures of the main characters. Garrett and his friends learn the hardships of camping life, face new challenges and meet dangerous opponents along the way. Garret himself undertakes to study the history of Siala in his dreams, “returns to the past” are magnificent here.

Who hasn’t thought about the idea of being in the right place at the right time? Who are these lucky ones who succeed? “Mockingbird” is a mixture of magic and technology. Such worlds are rare, but much more interesting as a study. The reader invites us to look into different houses and institutions, where there is a lot of interesting things.
Tiler Kartia is the main character. His mission is to find and punish the one by whose fault he was wrongly convicted. He was executed for a murder he did not commit. The author turned out to be a fantasy-steampunk Count of Monte Cristo. The story is easy to read, all the characters are thought out, and their actions are understandable and justified. Even the killer has his own logic.
2. Blizzard of shadows
This book is the completion of the trilogy “Chronicles of Siala”. It is interesting to read, but in the process you need to think about what can push you away, because for many, reading is to unload your head and relax. Concerning “Blizzards of Shadows” – this is a very exciting book, about Garrett’s journey through the underground crypt – this is something!
In order not to reveal many details, readers are offered a brief introduction: Hrad Spein is a sepulchral city located somewhere between the orc forests. It is here, in the underground city, that the main character must find the Rainbow Horn, which will help save the country. As befits the genre, the city is teeming with traps and dangers.
1. Cursed Horn
“Cursed Horn” is the final cycle of Pekhov’s books dedicated to Ludwig van Normeyen. This is a very emotional work, and there is an explanation for this – after all, farewell to the beloved characters. Each of them has their own destiny, and there was something to shed a tear over … Alexei Pegov has an excellent command of the style, which he emphasized once again with this story.
The plot of the story is this: the world is under threat. The Dark Smith can open the gates of hell. But the guard Ludwig van Normeien cannot allow such events, besides, he went on the trail of the Blacksmith. The task of the guard and his faithful companions is to stop the threat. This is the final book in the series with a sad ending.
