Growing a large-fruited Kazakh tomato is not difficult, but it is important to follow certain rules and properly care for tomato bushes.

Planting a tomato

In the middle lane, it is customary to grow tomatoes through seedlings, and Malinovka is no exception. Therefore, the first thing a gardener should do is to sow the seeds of a varietal tomato.

Attention! The timing of sowing seeds is selected based on the mid-ripening of the variety and the climatic characteristics of a particular region. The optimal time for planting tomatoes for seedlings is two months before the upcoming transfer to the ground or 1,5 months before transplanting into the greenhouse.

Raspberry seedlings are grown in the same way as usual:

  1. Seeds are disinfected by soaking in a weak solution of manganese.
  2. Now the tomato seeds need to be soaked for a couple of days so that they hatch.
  3. Now prepare planting containers and fill them with loose nutrient soil.
  4. The soil should be moistened with warm water and spread the seeds.
  5. Tomato seeds are sprinkled with a thin layer of soil or dry peat and sprayed with a spray bottle.
  6. Containers with tomatoes should be warm under the film until the first sprouts hatch.
  7. The film is removed, and containers with tomatoes are placed on the window, closer to the sun.
  8. Caring for tomato seedlings consists of watering and several top dressings using mineral complexes.
  9. At the stage of 2-3 true leaves, Malinovka tomatoes need to be dived – transplanted into larger and deeper cups.

Robin seedlings are transferred to a permanent place when the soil on the site or in the greenhouse warms up, and 6-8 true leaves appear on the plants themselves. The presence of the first flower buds is acceptable.

Antonina Viktorovna
I have long heard about a tomato called Malinovka, but I could not find the seeds of this variety: I constantly came across those whose fruits are cream. As a result, I read that the large-fruited variety is called Malinovka Apple and immediately found seeds with that name. My long search for this pink tomato fully justified itself: both in the open field and in the greenhouse, the tomato crop was more than worthy. I liked that the stems of the tomato are thick, the shoots are without kinks, large clusters did not even have to be tied up. The summer was cool, cloudy days prevailed, so my tomatoes did not want to turn red. I fed them with a potassium-magnesium solution and everything returned to normal – the robin turned pink and the fruits became juicy, fragrant. I will definitely plant this tomato next year, especially since now there is no problem with the seeds – I collected them in sufficient quantities from my own harvest.

Conclusion

The robin tomato is a great option for those who grow tomatoes for themselves or for sale. This variety is universal, as it is suitable for both soil and greenhouse, it feels great under arcs. The fruits of the Robin are very tasty, beautiful, will become a real decoration of the summer table.
