Does it happen that you promise someone or yourself: “I need to think”, “I will think”, “I will think”? And then time passes, new cases and turmoil take over, and you forget to think about what you promised …
Thinking about something, whether it’s choosing a new car or a school for a child, goals for life, or making notes in a book next to some thought: “thinking” or reflecting on some kind of work task is the same thing as everyone else in your plan for the day. Accordingly, this matter must be planned.
Set aside time each day to think about a specific question/problem.
If you do not have the habit of deciding (thinking) something in parallel with some business, then it is likely that simply by saying: “I will think about it”, you will forget about it and the issue will remain unresolved. There is a plus in this, because if you forgot about something, then perhaps it is not what you need? On the other hand, by letting the solution of some issue take its course, you can miss out on opportunities that may affect your life in the future. What if the thought of “launching a new project”, which you never thought about, was sensible, and if you had allocated time for it, would you have made a new round in your business?
So how do you allocate time for problem solving and time to think?
