Abstract
The sooner your child learns to organize his time competently, the more calmly, stress-free and effectively his school years will pass, and the more joyful, eventful and eventful life he will live.
The book by Marianna Lukashenko summarizes many years of experience in «children’s» time management and provides technologies with the help of which parents themselves can master with their children all the tools for organizing time, putting things in order, maintaining discipline, setting and achieving goals. The book describes many time management techniques adapted for use by schoolchildren and helping them become more successful and effective: do more, get tired less, go boldly and decisively towards your dream.
This book is not for schoolchildren, but for parents: firstly, time management is easier and more interesting to master with the whole family, and secondly, it is worthwhile to draw the child’s attention to time and its effective organization as early as possible, for example, as soon as the child went to school, and only parents can do it best.
Introduction
Dear parents!
You are holding the first book on children’s time management in your hands. Its creation was initiated by Gleb Arkhangelsky, a leading Russian expert in the field of time management, founder of the Russian time management community, author of the bestseller Time Drive. Those approaches, techniques and time management tools that are intended for children and are described in this book are also based on the methodology of Gleb Arkhangelsky.
Why was there a need for not only incredibly busy adults to organize their time, but also seemingly much freer children? Why was it necessary to streamline their time, after all, it would seem, when, if not in childhood, to live in clover and not think about time at all?
Let’s not be cunning with ourselves and agree that the childhood of our children, as soon as they first cross the threshold of the school, ceases to be serene at times. The life of a modern student is characterized by at least three important problems.
1. Lack of understanding of your life goals and inability to organize work to achieve them.
2. Inability to competently plan time for the implementation of a huge number of tasks set at school, and the inability to deal with their priorities.
3. The child’s ignorance of ways to deal with what prevents him from doing everything, whether it be external distractions, a notebook lost due to disorder, or his own laziness.
Meanwhile, these problems are quite effectively solved with the help of time management — a technology that allows you to use the irreplaceable time of a person’s life in accordance with his goals and values. And so we are convinced that with the help of time management, you can raise a successful child. For a successful child is one who knows how to set goals and organize himself to achieve them.
