According to many observers, Vladimir Putin, the president of Our Country and the initiator of aggression against Ukraine, is increasingly plunging into madness and paranoia. This is supposed to be indicated by Putin’s statements, decisions or reactions to the next stages of the invasion. It’s more of a guess. However, for several years there have been more and more signals that the dictator has serious health problems, both physical and mental. What diseases are we talking about?
- The health of Vladimir Putin has long been a source of rumors and speculation
- The Kremlin vehemently denies any suggestions of disease, but the image of a tough and disease-resistant leader carefully cared for by propaganda fell to ruin some time ago
- Before the invasion of Ukraine, Putin often disappeared for a long time, and he also avoided it – especially in times of a pandemic – direct contacts
- Symptoms and various reports most often indicate Parkinson’s disease, thyroid cancer and the effects of long-term steroid use

Parkinson’s disease in Putin
Rumors that the president may suffer from Parkinson’s disease have been circulating for a long time. They appeared again after the publication of the recording of his meeting with Sergei Shoygu. Throughout the 12-minute film, Putin is seen holding the table with his right hand in an unnatural way. In addition, he sits in a strange position with his shoulders bowed and every now and then stamps his right foot.
There have been many comments on Twitter about Parkinson’s disease. Putin’s pose and behavior were also commented on by the writer and former member of the British Conservative Party Louise Mensch.
– You can see that Putin grips the table in such a way that his trembling left hand is not visible, and the leg cannot help stomping – she wrote on the Substack platform. She also recalled that in 2015 a team of scientists from the Department of Neurology of the Radboud University Medical Center in Nijmegen, Netherlands, analyzed details of Putin’s gait that could indicate Parkinson’s disease. The President of Our Country then walked “with his left hand still, almost glued to his side, and his right hand swinging freely”.

Putin’s speeches are analyzed in a similar way. Then most often his right hand rests freely on the podium, and his left hand is lowered.
Putin’s unnatural shaking of hands and feet was also noticed during his meeting with Alexander Lukashenka.
On the other hand, during the Orthodox Easter service led by Patriarch Cyril, Putin’s face and facial expressions attracted attention, as well as the too slow and somewhat effortless farewell by the dictator.
Parkinson’s disease – symptoms
Parkinson’s disease affects men more than women, and the average age of Parkinson’s patients is 58 years, although there are also cases before the age of 40.
The disease usually begins with malaise and fatigue, which are not characteristic symptoms. Patients usually feel internal anxiety and sadness, and sometimes feel agitation and muscle pain.
One of the symptoms of early Parkinson’s disease is trembling of the hand, sometimes both hands, while at rest. This tremor often disappears with hand movements or fingers, and with sleep. The second characteristic symptom of Parkinson’s disease is slowing down of movements and a limited spectrum of their performance, also when it comes to facial movements. Due to this maskiness of the face, the patient often appears depressed and even depressed. His speech is soft, blurry, and after some time the disease is not understandable. Other symptoms include:
- difficulty starting, stopping, or changing direction of movement;
- posture and gait disorders;
- the handwriting changes, the letters become smaller and less distinct.

Putin’s thyroid cancer
Another disease that Vladimir Putin is said to suffer from is thyroid cancer. In this case, the rumors did not arise from symptoms, but from a journalistic investigation.
The investigative daily, Proekt, revealed in early April that the president has been visited by doctors extremely frequently in recent years. The team of medics always accompanies him during his travels or in his residences. This is especially true of Yevgeny Selivanov, an oncology surgeon specializing in thyroid cancer.

According to journalists, the doctor has visited Putin at his home in Sochi at least 35 times in recent years. Putin’s health is also to be supervised by two otolaryngologists, i.e. specialists in ear, nose and throat diseases. One of them, Alexei Szczygieł, was to be held by the dictator for 59 consultations in 2016-2020.
As one of the doctors explained in an interview with the Proekt journal, thyroid diseases, including cancer, are usually first diagnosed by an otolaryngologist, and then an oncologist and surgeon are involved in treatment.

Thyroid cancer – prognosis
Thyroid cancer accounts for about 1 percent. all human malignant neoplasms. It is the most common malignant neoplasm of the endocrine glands. The disease usually occurs in people over 40, and it can also occur in people under 30 years of age.
There are the following types of thyroid cancer:
- papillary cancer
- follicular cancer
- anaplastic cancer
- medullary cancer
- squamous cell carcinoma
- thyroid lymphoma
- thyroid sarcoma
- secondary tumors (metastasis of other tumors)
The prognosis of thyroid cancer is much better in young patients, it concerns people under 45 years of age.
The prognosis (good) is best in papillary cancer, the worst in anaplatic. In the first case, the microcarcinoma stage is completely curable, in tumors less than 4 cm 10 years old 90-95% survive. sick, and in more advanced states 60 percent. The anaplastic form of thyroid cancer is very aggressive and grows rapidly, making recovery extremely difficult.
Prophylactically and as an auxiliary in the treatment of the thyroid gland, it is worth drinking herbal tea. For the thyroid gland, use evening primrose oil and a dietary supplement with licorice root. You can buy these preparations together in a special Thyroid Kit, which is available at a favorable price on Medonet Market.
Putin’s steroids
For some time now, the unnaturally smooth and swollen face of 70-year-old Putin has also attracted attention. Initially, many observers suggested the use of Botox by the president of Our Country, but nowadays it is more and more often said that it is caused by the use of steroids.
Leonid Niewzlin, a former oligarch who – accused of financial fraud and murder – fled from Our Country to Israel at the beginning of the XNUMXst century speaks directly about steroids. Niewzlin revealed in an interview with the independent journalist Julia Latynina that Putin’s health was consulted with Israeli doctors.
“What we used to think of as the Botox effect is actually the long-term effects of steroids,” he explained. – Steroids are hormonal preparations that are taken in various cases – in oncology, autoimmune diseases and others. Putin has long been under the influence of steroids, according to doctors, and this may be related to the nature of his illness. It can be an oncological disease and steroids can be used to treat it to prevent relapses, Niewzlin explained.

The businessman explains that the symptoms of long-term therapy can be seen in Putin’s altered gait and poor skin condition, and that steroids could have caused psychological problems. – A person exposed to steroids becomes aggressive. He is insanely touchy, difficult to control, and must be in the bunker because his immunity is nonexistent. Any bacterial or viral disease can quickly lead to dire consequences. Figuratively speaking, he cannot cut his hand so as not to die from blood contamination, etc. In this version, life in a bunker becomes understandable – said Niewzlin.
Steroids – Side Effects
Steroids (or steroids) are the common name for a group of drugs similar to corticosteroids, hormones that occur naturally in the human body. Steroids are used in the treatment of a number of diseases, but due to possible side effects, they must be dosed reasonably and under the close supervision of a specialist.
The risk of side effects during steroid therapy is high – it depends on the dose and type of steroids taken and how long the patient has been taking the drug. For this reason, doctors prescribe steroids when the benefits of taking them outweigh the harmful effects. However, all therapy must take place under the watchful eye of a doctor.
There have been reports of undesirable effects in patients taking steroid drugs. These include, for example,
- emotional disorders,
- problems with sleeping,
- weight gain due to a significant increase in appetite.
- excessive hair,
- swelling on the face,
- stomach problems,
- osteoporosis,
- acne,
- hypertension.
- stretch marks appearing around the thighs, buttocks and breasts.
- tendency to bruise
- increase in appetite and weight gain,
- hirsutism
- water retention in the body,
- acne,
- osteoporosis,
- poor healing of wounds and ulcers,
- stomach irritation,
- Heart arythmia
- muscle cramps and weakness
- weakening of immunity
- discoloration and discoloration of the skin
- subcutaneous tissue atrophy
- cataracts or glaucoma,
- diabetes or impaired glucose tolerance,
