Three categories of products for which we are grateful to the Korean beauty industry

These types of cosmetics originated in Asia, but European and American brands quickly recognized their potential and developed their own effective formulas.

1. Hydrophilic oil

The guarantee of beautiful skin is proper cleansing. Korean women have a special opinion on this matter: they believe that one means is not enough to solve this problem. And cleanse the skin in two steps.

  1. Remove makeup using oil, milk or micellar lotion.

  2. wash their faces using gel or foam.

The most popular remedy for stage number one is hydrophilic oil. How does it work?

  • First, the oil is applied to dry skin, dissolving the remnants of makeup and other impurities.

  • Then they wash. When in contact with water, the product turns into an emulsion and washes away everything superfluous from the face.

Hydrophilic oil analogues have been released by many European and American brands, and each has patented its own formula.

2. Night mask

Concentrated sleep care is Korean know-how. It was in the Land of Morning Calm that products with the effectiveness of a mask and the ability to be absorbed like a cream first appeared. However, the classic Sleeping Packs have a rather dense jelly-like texture, they do not immediately melt on the skin, but they moisturize perfectly.

In Europe, night masks have been adapted to local beauty habits and included proven ingredients.

  • lip patches;

  • patches for nasolabial folds.

The dense hydrogel base of the mask adheres well to the face and creates an occlusive effect, increasing the effectiveness of the formula. And it, as a rule, includes hydraulic fixators:

  • hyaluronic acid;

  • glycerol;

  • juice of aloe.

Moisturizing in all ways is the basis of Korean care

Another variety – anti-aging hydrogel masks. They contain collagen, algae extracts, peptides. These masks:

  • fill in wrinkles

  • smooth the skin;

  • make it denser.
