PSYchology

Thoughtlessly — not including your own head, living on someone else’s mind, habits or reacting impulsively.

The Natural Prevalence of Thoughtlessness

Only where there is an advanced front of science and research is going on, scientists have to think. The rest of the space of this art does not presuppose, simply because there is a prescription: before you think for yourself, you need to acquire the right to do so. And the right is given along with erudition, that is, with a sufficient and proven amount of knowledge by comrades.

Therefore, in the entire huge pyramid of science, almost to the very tip of research, people solve their problems by asking how they should be solved. This pyramid itself grows out of an even broader foundation of the school and preschool education. That is, it covers all of humanity, imposing its own approach on it.

And humanity accepted it, because it is easier and easier to acquire knowledge without thinking and not solving problems, but by asking and receiving ready-made answers.

And from childhood we wean ourselves to think and retrain ourselves to what is accepted in this world. For us at that age, this is also a survival task, how to learn to restrain the exploratory impulse and force ourselves to live in someone else’s mind. We solve it and become successful…but thoughtless.

If you remember children and even animals, you will see that initially we tend to explore, think and solve the tasks that life puts in our way, as tasks of survival. Remember also how, as a result of these studies, we spoiled things, and they explained to us, sometimes gently, and sometimes very painfully: before you mess with your mind, you need to ask!
