This will be remembered: 10 fun activities with your child in spring

How many beautiful moments there are in our memory: the day when you start up boats with friends in the yard, go out for a walk without a jacket for the first time, see the first flowers and know that a beautiful and long summer will soon come. So that the spring does not pass unnoticed, we have compiled a list of necessary things to do together with the child in the spring.

Do not be embarrassed by the slush, mud and dampness outside, slides flooded with water on the playground, sleet, treacherously falling right halfway to the swing. Above the spouts! Everything is in order, everything goes on as usual – this is “trouble” for you, and an interesting experience for the baby. Let’s turn it in a positive direction: spring is good for a child’s development!

In this regard, the first item on our list of “spring affairs” …

1. Examine the puddles and launch the boats.

To begin with, we put on rubber boots (with insulation) – yes, for both the child and ourselves! We don’t want Mom’s wet feet to make everyone return home from this Spring Festival!

Now you can get into a puddle! Measure the depth of the puddle with your child with a stick. Use a spatula to widen the stream bed by connecting it to a puddle, or combine several streams together. You can build a dam by blocking the path of the stream.

And of course, let the boats go! Not a single childhood can do without them! It can be either paper boats that you and your child make on your own, or any sticks and twigs found on the street.

2. Put a branch of bird cherry, poplar or birch in a vase and watch the leaves appear.

For more interest, start a diary in which you write down when the twig was brought home, then when the leaves began to appear, well, and when the leaves have completely blossomed.

The fastest growing leaves appear in bird cherry and poplar. The poplar, by the way, will even have roots, so that the branch can be planted in the future.

3. Make a birdhouse and hang it in the park, in the forest or in the country.

This is not only a very exciting activity, but also fosters a love for nature in the child. Just do not try to decorate the birdhouse too much – it is better that it is just wooden. The fact is that the smell of paint, glue, varnish is not pleasant to birds, and they do not settle in such houses.

4. Letting off sunbeams.

In sunny weather, bring a mirror with you for a walk. The kid will be happy to both catch sun bunnies and let them go. Pick some distant target and practice who can launch the bunny that far.

5. Arrange a spring photo session.

And be sure to give your child the opportunity to be a photographer! Having arranged a photo session with your child in nature, you can not only get great shots for a family album, but also have fun and have a great time with the whole family.

6. Draw with crayons on the asphalt or paint a picture in the fresh air.

Almost all children love to draw, it is especially interesting to do it on the street. Grab crayons for a walk and paint on the asphalt.

Or feel like real artists – take pencils, paints, an easel or just a folder for paper, choose a beautiful place in the park and draw it with your child.

7. Have a picnic in nature and listen to the birds.

This can be described as a real journey. You don’t have to go somewhere far. Take everything you need (tea in a thermos, light snack, blanket) and go to nature. Take a break or just sit in a clearing and have a picnic.

Listen to the birds singing. In the spring they chirp especially delightfully. Enjoy the tranquility and spring mood. Discuss with the child what birds he saw, who sings.

8. Plant your mini-vegetable garden on the windowsill.

Probably everyone sprouted a bulb at least once in childhood. No wisdom: take an onion and put it in a glass of water. In a week there will already be quite decent green “arrows”. You can also sow dill, parsley, lettuce seeds in boxes of soil and set them on the windowsill.

Try to make the child an active participant in the entire planting and seedling care procedure: let him loosen the ground, bury the seeds, water. Not only is it fun, but you will also have early greens to your table at home.

9. Find the first spring flowers.

It is better not to pick the flowers, but they can be carefully examined, sniffed, photographed or then drawn. Tell your child about this flower, tell that bees feed on its nectar, and then make honey.

10. Plant a tree or bush.

You can plant a tree or shrub in the country, in the park or near the entrance. The lilac bush is quite unpretentious, besides, its bright and fragrant flowering will delight every spring.

During the planting process, tell your child that you need to handle the plants with great care so as not to damage the root system, because it is with its help that plants receive nutrients from the soil. And also tell that it hurts a tree when its branches are broken, as it hurts a person when he injures an arm or a leg. The baby will take care of the plant planted on his own with special scrupulousness. And of course, your child will take care of nature and ecology from childhood.
