33% of men consider honesty to be the most important trait of their character, 28% — reliability in relationships*.

Being a healthy person, a good father and a devoted husband, having an open relationship with a partner — this is how almost 28 thousand men defined the concept of masculinity. They value these qualities much more than, for example, financial success (named by only 3% of respondents) and sexual success (1%). The answers of 16% of participants who had problems with potency did not differ from the answers of sexually active men. There was no fundamental difference in the views of young men and men of middle and old age. “They are insensitive, immature and obsessed with sex…” Is it time to reconsider the stereotype?* The survey was conducted in Germany, USA, UK, Spain, Brazil, Mexico, Italy and France by an international team of psychologists led by Dr. Julia Heiman from Indiana University ( USA).
