– The only way we can overcome COVID-19 is together – emphasized Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Benet on the first day of administering the third dose to people 60+. – Together means sharing information, methods, technologies. It is also known how many coronavirus infections occurred despite the booster dose. Among 400 thousand of the people who received it, the virus was diagnosed in 14 patients. Two required hospitalization, according to The Jerusalem Post, one was mild and the other was moderate. These people became infected seven days or more after receiving the vaccine. Most were over 60 years of age, three were below this age limit – the third dose was due to immunosuppression.
