Reluctance to vaccinate against COVID-19 has increased significantly in the last week among people who have not yet done so, according to the latest data from the research agency Inquiry. It was also checked how Poles assess their current health in comparison to the times before the pandemic.

Vaccinations against COVID-19. How many Poles want to get vaccinated?
Currently 32 percent. people who are not yet vaccinated declare that they want to take advantage of the COVID-19 vaccine (“definitely yes” and “probably yes” responses combined), which is a minimal decrease compared to the previous week (by 1 percentage point).
On the other hand, the percentage of people who explicitly declare that they do not intend to be vaccinated increased significantly – currently, such answers (“definitely not” or “probably not” in the question about the intention to use the vaccine) are given by 52% of respondents. subjects who are not yet vaccinated. This means an increase by as much as 10 percentage points compared to the previous week.
In the context of fears of contracting the coronavirus, people aged 18-24 and 25-34 still have the lowest level of declared anxiety – at the level of 20 and 26%, respectively. (sum of answers “I am very afraid” and “I am rather afraid”). People aged 35-44 (36%) and 45-54 (39%) have such concerns clearly more often. The highest level of anxiety concerns the oldest people aged over 55 – 54% of such people. fears of contracting the coronavirus.

When asked about what health problems they are experiencing more or less often compared to the times before the pandemic, they most often indicated such ailments as a sense of stress (38% experiences more often), anxiety and fear (37%), a feeling of fatigue (36%). .), lack of energy to act (35%), irritability (35%) and depression and sadness (34%).
All of the above problems were indicated more often by women than by men, in particular the feeling of fatigue (44% of women experience more often now), the feeling of stress (43%) and anxiety and fear (43%).

The survey has been carried out from December 21, 2020 on a representative sample of adult Poles using the CAWI method in weekly waves of approx. 700 people (online survey on the YouGov panel).
