One of them is Bianka, who was born with a severe leg defect. The girl from Nowy Sącz is extremely talented. Despite his illness, he plays the guitar and also swims, usually in a frog. Shortly after birth, she was in danger of having her leg amputated and then living with a prosthesis. Until some time ago, doctors were not able to cure such defects. Which had only one solution – cutting off the limb. – I was sure that Bianusia would have her foot amputated, but I didn’t know at what stage – says Anna Legutko, Bianka’s mother for fakty.tvn24.pl.
Bianka is not the only case of a sick child facing an amputation. This also applied to the little Maja from Szczecin. – Every mother is happy when a healthy child starts to walk, and how a sick child has a shortcut, and it is quite large? … And it falls over, gets up and goes on, falls over, gets up and goes on? This is great happiness! – says Renata Sarnecka, Maja’s mother, in an interview with fakty.tvn24.pl.
Both girls, although limping, can walk. The revolutionary development of medicine, especially in the field of orthopedics, gives hope and possibilities that in the future there will be no trace of these defects at all. It is influenced by newer and newer methods, solutions as well as materials to which specialists have access.
This is evidenced by the story of Dani Jakobson from Israel, who suffered a serious health impairment during the accident. He had lost seven inches of his leg bones. Doctors saved him from prostheses because they grew the missing bone from adipose tissue.
