During less than 9 months of the “Tevactive” campaign, the involved employees ran over 88 kilometers, which were then converted into zlotys and allocated to the purchase of rehabilitation equipment for the “Help on Time” Foundation for Children.
239 employees of Teva Pharmaceuticals Polska have for the second time been involved in the TEVACTIVE initiative aimed at supporting the Foundation for Children “Help on Time” and raising funds for the necessary equipment in the form of a rehabilitation treadmill.
During the TEVACTIVE campaign, employees using the mobile application designed to collect results achieved during individual running training, walking or cycling, collected kilometers, which were then exchanged for zlotys in the system 1km = PLN 1 for running and walking and 1km = 0,5 PLN for cycling.
TEVACTIVE is an initiative of the employees who submitted the project under the internal InicjaTeva program. During less than 9 months of the campaign, the involved employees achieved a total of 88 km, which TEVA then converted into zlotys and allocated the amount of PLN 000 to innovative rehabilitation equipment – a specialized rehabilitation treadmill. The equipment was donated to the Foundation for Children “Help on Time”, which supports sick and disabled children throughout the country. The Foundation also provides financial assistance to treatment, care and educational institutions.
The Foundation for Children “Help on Time”, with which I have been associated for many years, brings together over 33 sick and disabled children from all over the country. With them in mind, we have launched three rehabilitation centers in Warsaw – AMICUS, BIOMICUS and CEMICUS. However, the needs are still enormous, which is why big thanks go to TEVA and its employees who, without sparing any effort, turned the kilometers into zlotys. Thanks to them, our BIOMICUS Rehabilitation Center will be able to be proud of modern rehabilitation equipment. This proves that cooperation plays the most important role in providing help and that nothing integrates better and brings greater satisfaction than causing a sincere smile on the faces of children – says Beata Tyszkiewicz, President of the Community “Help on Time”.
