About Us
The company was founded in 1990. The first production workshops were located in Rapotice (Czech Republic). Here, the production of boilers for the domestic Czech market was started. At first, only floor-mounted devices were made here, but already in 1992, the company offered wall-mounted versions to the Czech consumer. In 1996, it began to enter foreign markets – the products came mainly to the countries of Eastern Europe.

How to choose?
To choose the option with optimal characteristics, you need to take into account the area that is supposed to be heated. The power of the model will depend on its size. More selection criteria:
- Installation option. For floor models, the price is less, they are powerful, bulky and weigh a lot. Wall-mounted ones take up a minimum of space and weigh little – they are usually purchased for heating small areas. In apartments with autonomous heating, mounted gas heaters are usually used.
- The number of contours. Single-circuit – provides only heating, double-circuit – heats the housing and heats hot water – when the tap is opened.
Wall mounted
Mounted boilers are represented by the LXZ, LN CL, K and other model lines, as well as four main types:
• One circuit – heating. They work only for heating. Having converted, it is possible to connect an indirect water heating boiler (BKN). The highest heat output is 90 W. This is enough to heat an area of 000 sq. m. A number of models have an atmospheric burner, others have a closed firebox, where street air flows.
• There is a flow heater. Heat output 14-32 kW. Closed firebox and 2 heat exchangers. The advantage of some modifications is a condensing unit that uses the heat of the exhaust gases and increases the efficiency of the device. Condensing models are connected to a horizontal coaxial chimney. Burner – pressurized type. Therefore, the operating apparatus makes noise, and the noise increases when hot water is turned on.
• Embedded boiler (BKN). There is a storage capacity of 40, 55, 100 liters. The boiler is made of stainless steel or enamelled steel. Provides instant water heating. Automatic regulation to control the intensity of burning.
• Connected to BKN. You can connect an external boiler.
The technical characteristics of mounted modifications with a closed firebox allow them to be used in apartments.
Line L is designed for small areas. 15-32 kW – approximate heat output. Internal tank 7 l. Good for 1-room apartments or small private houses.
CLN – single-circuit models in which water heating can be organized. Forced turbocharged traction system.
Outdoor
“Termona” produces floor-standing devices without a DHW circuit, but with the possibility of conversion for water heating – by connecting the BKN. an atmospheric burner is used. High heat output – up to 120 W. Piezo ignition. In the automatic unit there is a thermocouple, the adjustment is mechanical.
Thermona floor standing units are undemanding and maintenance is usually not a problem. Connecting and setting up requires precautions. In the package there is an instruction – to familiarize yourself with the device and the connection diagram. Installation steps include:
• Connection to the mains. The attachment has sensors and valves to monitor the operation. Management is carried out by means of an additionally purchased remote unit. All automation is powered by electricity. The disadvantage of such equipment is sensitivity to power surges. In order to avoid damage to the control board – its price is 30% of the cost of the entire device, a voltage stabilizer is installed. If the electricity is cut off, the boiler does not work – not very pleasant in winter. To prevent this situation, put a battery or generator.
• Installation of thermal sensors. Room and remote thermostats are responsible for a comfortable temperature – everything is done automatically, without human intervention.
• Equipment setup. It is better to entrust this moment to the specialists of the selling company – they know how the boiler should work, and they will competently perform its adjustment and adjustment.

What are the faults?
To make the use of gas equipment comfortable, it is useful to study its principle of operation, as well as the main mistakes:
- The burner goes out all the time or is unstable. Most often, owners of gas heaters face just such a problem. The reason is that the gas is of poor quality. The solution is to disassemble the assembly and clean the burner with a special brush.
- Low gas pressure. The likely cause is a leak. You need to look for a place of depressurization – inspect the joints. The solution is to fix the leak.
- Control sensor defective. This happens due to frequent power surges. Troubleshooting – replacing the damaged element. It is advisable to install a stabilizer – to prevent voltage drops.
- Faults in the removal of smoke. For example, due to freezing of the chimney or due to improper ventilation. Solve the problem with a smoke exhauster. Turbo ventilation will also help to avoid malfunction.

Until a certain time, the work of the boiler was satisfied. But then there were problems with the ignition of the burner. When trying to ignite the burner, the temperature control is triggered, the SIT 537 ignition board is energized. then the ignition clicks, and then the sound – as if the gas caught fire, but almost immediately a relay click is heard and it becomes quiet. Then the flame burns weakly, weakly, the temperature drops, you have to turn off the boiler to bring it out of this state. If not for this nonsense, in general, I would be satisfied. The breakdown had to be repaired with the help of a service department.
Therm TRIO 90: Gennady T., Rostov
There are 3 heat exchangers – two Wilo motors drive water into them. There are 3 automated air vents – on all heat exchangers. There is protection against overheating, boiling and loss of traction. Disadvantages – to gain access to the heat exchanger, you need to disassemble the case. If you need to clean – you have to suffer. Often you have to change the air vents – they flow. Copper tends to burst, so the radiator pipes need to be welded with silver – repairs are quite expensive. The overall impression is unsatisfactory.
According to the manufacturer’s assurances, Thermona boilers are distinguished by high performance and reliability. In order for the devices to last 15 years, promised by the manufacturer, and cast iron – all 25, proper installation and adjustment of the equipment is necessary. This option is suitable for consumers who appreciate the trouble-free operation of equipment, but prefer to purchase it at reasonable prices.
