Thermo-Rheumon

Thermo-Rheumon is used in the treatment of osteoarthritis of the spine, knee and shoulder joints, extra-articular rheumatism (pain in the sacro-lumbar region, bursitis, tendons, tendon sheaths, joint capsules, epicondylitis).

ACTION

Thermo-Rheumon is a combined preparation containing a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug and a locally irritating and congestive substance.

Thermo-Rheumon – indications and dosage

Thermo-Rheumon is a cream intended for the use of:

  1. in osteoarthritis of the spine, knee and shoulder joints,
  2. in extra-articular rheumatism,
  3. in pains in the sacro-lumbar region,
  4. in bursitis, tendons, tendon sheaths, joint capsules and epicondylitis.

Dosage

Thermo-Rheumon is a cream for topical application to the skin. Hands should be washed thoroughly after each massaging of the cream. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose of the preparation as it may pose a threat to your life or health.

  1. Adults: apply about 2 g of cream (a ball the size of a hazelnut) to the skin in the painful area and rub intensively, repeat 3-4 times a day. Treatment usually lasts up to 2 weeks.

Thermo-Rheumon and contraindications

Contraindications to the use of Thermo-Rheumon are:

  1. hypersensitivity to: etofenamate, flufenamic acid, benzyl nicotinate or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs,
  2. pregnancy period,
  3. the period of breastfeeding,
  4. use in children up to the age of 14.

Thermo-Rheumon – warnings

  1. Thermo-Rheumon cream should not be used on damaged or diseased skin.
  2. Avoid contact of the drug with the eyes and mucous membranes.
  3. There is no information on the effect of the drug on the ability to drive and use machines.
  4. The use of Thermo-Rheumon during pregnancy and breastfeeding is contraindicated.

Thermo-Rheumon with other drugs

If Thermo-Rheumon is used as recommended, there are no interactions with other drugs.

Thermo-Rheumon – side effects

When using Thermo-Rheumon cream may occur:

  1. allergic skin reactions, e.g. rash, itching, erythema, swelling, blisters,
  2. reddening of the skin.
