The Ministry of Health has published a list of drugs at risk of non-availability. There are 212 items, including over a dozen types of insulin and other drugs used in the treatment of diabetes, drugs used in schizophrenia, in the case of a disturbed immune system, substitute milk or preparations prescribed for the prevention of strokes.

New “anti-export” list of drugs
The Ministry of Health updates the so-called anti-nutritional drug list. It is “a list of medicinal products, foodstuffs for particular nutritional uses and medical devices at risk of unavailability on the territory of the Republic of Poland”.

The latest announcement on April 25 concerns the list effective from May 1.
Which drugs are on the “anti-export” list?
The latest list includes 212 items, which is five more than the list in effect from March 1 and three less than the January list.
The list includes, inter alia, antidiabetic drugs, solutions for inhalation, used e.g. in bronchial asthma, anticoagulants, human immunoglobulins, used in the treatment of immunodeficiency syndromes, infant formula or antipsychotics.
