The Ministry of Health has published a new list of drugs at risk of unavailability in Poland. It made 207 entries – eight fewer than the previous anti-export list, which was released in January this year. Which products may be difficult to find in Polish pharmacies?

The current announcement of the Minister of Health on the list of medicinal products, foodstuffs for particular nutritional uses and medical devices at risk of unavailability on the territory of the Republic of Poland comes from February 25, 2022.
There were 207 items on the list – less than in January 2022 (215 items) and in November 2021 (2019 items). There is also a huge difference in the availability of drugs compared to the state from two years ago (the beginning of the pandemic), when the list covered more than 1 thousand. products.

What’s on the current list of medicines at risk of non-availability?
The anti-export list includes both drugs, medical devices and foodstuffs for particular nutritional uses. Among them are:
- antidiabetic drugs, np. Abasaglar, Gensulin, Liprolog,
- solutions for inhalation, used, among others in bronchial asthma, including Airbufo Forspiro, Berodual, Pulmozyme,
- anticoagulants, n.p. Clexane, Fraxodi i Neoparin,
- human immunoglobulins, used in the treatment of immunodeficiency syndromes, such as Cuvitru, Kiovig or Privigen,
- milk replacers for babies – Neocate Junior, Nutramigen, and also
- antipsychotic drugslike Rispolept and Trevicta.
On the other hand, the list removed, among others, all influenza vaccines, some insulins (such as Insuman Basal) and human immunoglobulins (including Ig Vena).
