The Ministry of Health has published a new list of drugs at risk of unavailability in Poland. There were 178 items on it – 37 less than the previous anti-export list, which was published in June. Which products may be difficult to find in Polish pharmacies?

The latest anti-export drug list – September 2022.
The latest announcement of the Ministry of Health comes from August 2022. It contains “List of medicinal products, foodstuffs for particular nutritional uses and medical devices at risk of unavailability on the territory of the Republic of Poland as of September 1, 2022”.
The list includes drugs, the lack of which was reported by at least 5%. generally available pharmacies in a given voivodeship.
There were 178 items on the new list – that’s less than two months earlier. The list, effective from July 1, contained 215 products.
However, compared to the previous list, there are some new entries in the list. This includes three of them are hormonal drugs that alleviate the symptoms of menopause and prevent osteoporosis: Activelle, Cliovelle and Femoston Conti.

The anti-export list includes both drugs, medical devices and foodstuffs for particular nutritional uses. Among them are:
- insulin and anti-diabetic drugs, e.g. Abasaglar, Actrapid, Apidra, Gensulin, Humalog, Fiasp, Basal Insulin, Liprolog,
- non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs – Stage
- steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs – Cortiment
- solutions for inhalation, used, among others in bronchial asthma, including Airbufo Forspiro, Berodual, Pulmozyme,
- anticoagulants, n.p. Clexane, Fraxodi i Neoparin,
- human immunoglobulins, used in the treatment of immunodeficiency syndromes – Cuvitru, Kiovig or Privigen,
- drugs for digestive disorders – Asamax, Kreon
- milk replacers for babies – Neocate Junior, Nutramigen,
- antipsychotic drugs – like Concerta, Rispolept, Trevicta or Zypadhera.
