Theraflu Sinus is a drug that helps you get rid of sinus pain very quickly. This bothersome ailment occurs most often in the fall and winter season, when the nose is blocked with a runny nose. This leads to rhinitis, which in turn leads to obstruction of the sinuses. This, in turn, is associated with a number of other ailments, such as severe pain in the head and temples, tearing, and even pain in the eyes. Theraflu Sinus allows, first of all, to get rid of the causes of pain. It unblocks blocked sinuses very quickly, bringing relief to the patient.

Theraflu – indications

It is recommended when sinusitis is so severe that fever and chills appear. At the same time, thanks to the paracetamol content, it soothes pains not directly related to the sinuses, such as flu pains in the muscles and joints or sore throat. It can be used by both adults and children over 12 years of age.

Theraflu – dosage

The preparation is available in the form of a powder, which should be made from one sachet dissolved in 150 ml of hot water. The fastest action of a drug is when drunk immediately after preparation – temperature matters. The contents of the sachet should be consumed every 4-6 hours. It should be remembered that a daily dose of 3 sachets cannot be exceeded, as this may result in paracetamol poisoning.

Due to its form, the drug is absorbed very quickly into the bloodstream – faster than tablets. Already 30 minutes after taking the drug, the sick person experiences visible relief – the pain in the sinuses decreases and the fever begins to decrease.

Theraflu can be used for a maximum of five days. If symptoms do not improve during this time, stop dosing and see a doctor. It is necessary to read the leaflet – people allergic to paracetamol must not consume the drug under any circumstances, because it may cause anaphylactic shock.

The drug may cause side effects such as hives, allergic rashes, constipation, flatulence and heartburn. It is recommended that the drug be taken at least two hours before bedtime, as the drug may cause insomnia.

The drug does not cause problems with psychophysical fitness – you can drive a car and operate machinery. However, it should not be used by people who take anti-inflammatory drugs and medications for depression. It is also not advisable for pregnant and breastfeeding women to take it, as well as people suffering from problems with hypertension, severe cardiovascular diseases, hyperthyroidism, glaucoma, closure of the angle, and phaeochromocytoma.

The drug is contraindicated in people who use MAO inhibitors in parallel or during the last 2 weeks, use other sympathomimetic drugs, beta-adrenergic blockers (so-called beta-blockers), and use tricyclic antidepressants.

It should be remembered that when using Theraflu Zatoki, you should not take drugs such as aspirin or paracetamol tablets at the same time, because you can overdose the substance. Very often, patients who take Theraflu on their own and without consulting a doctor, at the same time use pills. It is not advisable.
