One of the worst fears of every pregnant woman is that something will go wrong during childbirth. An incompetent midwife will come across, the birth will be too long, and you will have to do a cesarean. In most cases, fortunately, this is how it goes. But Delphine Mota was out of luck. During childbirth, her blood pressure dropped dramatically. It was necessary to do an emergency caesarean, otherwise both the mother and the child could die. And then everything went awry.
The doors to the operating room closed, and Dolphin’s fiancé Paul remained outside waiting for her. And suddenly I heard a wild cry. The man tried to break into the operating room, but he was tied down by the guards. The screams died down. For another hour Paul rushed under the doors of the operating room, not knowing what was happening there. In the end, Dolphin was taken to the ward. When she regained consciousness, she told why she was screaming – and then anyone’s hair would stand on end.
As it turned out, the anesthesiologist made a standard injection and left, leaving Dolphina in the care of a team of obstetric surgeons.
“They called him several times, but he didn’t answer. The surgeon waited ten minutes and ordered me to be tied to the table. And then I felt a knife cut into me, ”- said Delfina.
Then there was the scream that Paul heard. Delphine screamed in hellish, unbearable pain.
“Stop! I feel everything! ” She begged the doctors. They silently continued their work, while the woman tied to the table writhed in agony.
Then Dolphin simply fainted. She came to herself already in the ward.
“They just opened me alive. As if we live in a third world country, and not in America, ”the woman is indignant.
The hospital has its own position. They are sure that they did everything right, because they “care about the health, safety and comfort” of their patients. It is not known what kind of comfort was discussed for Dolphins – it is unlikely that it will be very pleasant to feel how they are cutting you.
“We have filed a lawsuit. Eight months later, the hospital offered me a $ 25 certificate for purchases in a hospital store. In their opinion, this is enough to settle everything, “- said Delfina .
The woman demands compensation from the hospital for the traumatic experience in the amount of five million dollars. But so far, I’ve only got an apology card. The only thing that consoles Dolphin is that she physically recovered from this trauma, and everything is fine with her daughter Kali.
