How, you ask, how can you not know that you are pregnant ?! It turns out that this is not so incredible. Meet Ashley-Miller Cross, a resident of the Canadian city of Halifax. She realized that she was pregnant only when she gave birth. And it happened in the wrong place. However, first things first.
Ashley and her husband Kyle became parents only 10 months ago. Their first child, a pretty girl, was named Mia. Ashley gained some weight during pregnancy. And after giving birth, the weight was in no hurry to go anywhere. However, Ashley was not worried – she did not gain weight, but she will have time to lose weight. After all, you must first finish with breastfeeding, and then go on a diet.
Ashley went to the local supermarket one afternoon. An ordinary visit, nothing out of the ordinary. She took the cart and walked down the aisles, collecting groceries. And suddenly the woman felt severe pain. The staff helped Ashley to the toilet.
“I could not understand what was the matter” – then Ashley.
However, soon there was no doubt about what was happening – Ashley was in labor. When the supermarket manager, Malcolm Como, popped into the toilet to scream, he was really shocked.
“I opened the door, Ashley was behind her. She shouted that she had just given birth, – said Malcolm. “I grabbed the phone and dialed 911. You know, in all 32 years of my work here, this is the first such case.”
Fortunately, there was a doctor’s office at the store. The manager ran for the doctor, brought him to Ashley. The mother and child were fine. And then the ambulance drove up. Both were taken to the hospital. The mother felt good, her son – a little boy weighing 3600 grams – too. The boy, by the way, was named Ezra.
“I had no signs of pregnancy,” Ashley said. Which is understandable – for many women, while they are breastfeeding, their periods stop. But this does not mean that they are insured against pregnancy. – I have not had any “pregnant” quirks. There weren’t even contractions before childbirth – I just gave birth. “
