The witch could not remove the curse and was put on trial

If the service did not bring the promised results, we, of course, want to compensate for the losses. This even applies to … magical rituals. And although it is no longer a secret to anyone that cleaning the aura, inducing or removing damage is nothing more than quackery, the hero of our story clearly did not think so.

Californian Mauro Restrepo decided through the court to seek moral compensation – 25 thousand dollars (1,8 million rubles) – from a fortune teller for not removing the curse from him, allegedly imposed by his former lover.

According to the man, not so long ago, he and his wife began constant quarrels – he considered it necessary to turn to the witch to solve the problem. Search for the sorceress Restrepo went to the Internet.

Soon he came across Sophia Adams and immediately took a liking to her. She called herself a “doctor of science in right living” and “a specialist in love affairs.” All this aroused confidence in the American, and he came for a consultation.

At the session, Adams saw with the help of Tarot cards that a curse was placed on the client’s marriage. She claimed that the ex-partner Restrepo had spoiled him, and now he and all his relatives would be unhappy until the end of his days.

At the same time, the sorceress made a reservation: for five thousand dollars (361,3 thousand rubles), all this can be dealt with – the Californian’s family will be saved!

The frightened man immediately made an advance payment of a thousand dollars (72,3 thousand rubles) and began to wait for everything to change for the better. However, the miracle did not happen: the couple remained on the verge of a divorce, and Mauro himself was still tormented by insomnia and anxiety.

Then the deceived Restrepo sued the fortune teller

He stated that he wanted to sue her for 25 thousand dollars for moral and material damage.

Victims of this type of fraud often try to restore justice through the courts. And sometimes they succeed.

For example, earlier the court sentenced a “witch” from the US state of Florida to three years and four months in prison. For removing the curse from the family of one client from Texas, 28-year-old sorceress Sherry Tina Uvanavich took $ 1,6 million (about 104 million rubles).

The woman pleaded guilty to fraud. As punishment, she must not only serve time, but also return all the money to the deceived woman.

According to the case file, Uvanavich met her victim in Houston, Texas, back in 2007. The sorceress built a good relationship with her and assured her that a curse had been placed on her and her family by a witch from South America.

Uvanavich stated that she would need a large amount of money for crystals and candles to perform rituals that would help remove the corruption. Later, she herself confessed to the victim that there was no curse.
