This year is testing us for strength: every day, the next not the most pleasant news. Sometimes it seems that the whole world has gone crazy, and you want to somehow cling to reality, to convince yourself that very soon everything will be fine. This is probably why we cling to good news so much: they help to relax and forget for a moment about all the horrors that are happening outside the door.
“I revisit this video and remember the old joke:“ I work hard to make my cats live well, ”people write in the comments to the video on YouTube, which has gained almost 2 million views in just a couple of months. What’s the secret? After all, this is not a clip of a popular artist, not tricks, not a video from the category of “Shock, scandals, intrigues.” The main characters of the video are cats. They just walk into the house and go about their feline business – all 12 minutes that the recording continues.
The author of the video is Walter Santee. He leads dedicated to the life of his pets: 11 cats and a dog. Only two purrs live permanently at home, the rest are street. And so Walter decided to make their life a little warmer: he equipped a special room for cats – with houses, feeders, even photographs of furry residents on the walls.
“They have underfloor heating in this room so they won’t freeze in winter,” Walter says.
It took more than one day to work. And finally, cats were able to cross the threshold of their new home – and new houses for the first time. It seems that a sincere gratitude is written on the pugs, mixed with a slight distrust – after all, until now no one has done anything like this for them, not a single door opened hospitably in front of their faces.
