The tick season is still ongoing. It is worth remembering about this, especially during the holidays, when we spend a lot of time outdoors.
Ticks belong to the arachnid family. Their bite does not hurt, but it can be very dangerous for us. Many ticks are carriers of pathogens that cause various diseases, such as Lyme disease and tick-borne encephalitis. If you spend a lot of time in the meadow and in the forest, it is worth considering vaccination against tick-borne encephalitis.
