Although official information from the Ministry of Health shows that referrals for the third dose of the COVID-19 vaccine for people 50+ and health care workers are not expected to appear until Friday, September 24, we have signals that in some places in the country they are already available today. On Facebook, the fact of the third dose of vaccination was announced, among others, by a doctor from Gdańsk.

A few days ago, the Ministry of Health announced that the third dose of the vaccine will be able to receive not only people with limited immunity, but also health care workers and people aged 50 and over. In the first case, it will be an additional dose, in the other two groups – a supplementary dose.
Registration for vaccination with the third dose of immunocompromised people started at the beginning of September. From September 24, referrals for other eligible persons are to appear.

Meanwhile, we are getting signals that referrals appeared on the patient’s online accounts today, or even earlier. Some are already vaccinated. On the profile of the St. Wojciech in Zaspa in Gdańsk, there was an entry by the doctor Małgorzata Ponikowska, who informed that the third dose is already over, the referrals are available in the system, and the dates are available immediately. This was confirmed by other internet users in the comments.
