AstraZeneca – teachers give up the second dose

Of all the COVID-19 vaccines available in Poland, AstraZeneca still causes the greatest concern. This preparation was vaccinated, among others, by teaching staff. In March, before the European Medicines Agency officially announced that the vaccine was safe and effective, many teachers were not vaccinating. About 10-15 percent. teachers missed the vaccination.

As it turns out, the problem still exists. The teachers refrain from receiving the second dose of AstraZeneki. According to the tokfm.pl website, at the turn of April and May, 113 of the 726 teachers enrolled in one of Lublin’s hospitals did not appear.

– I know that some teachers do not want to vaccinate. They write about it in their groups. They say that after the first dose they felt very bad, they had a fever after 40 degrees C or bone pain and they don’t want to go through it again. One friend said that she was vaccinated with one dose, she was safe and that’s enough for her – the website quotes a teacher from one of Lublin’s schools.
