You have never seen such a love for fast food.
Burgers, fries and sugary soda tempts us everywhere. Everyone has heard about the dangers of eating from fast food restaurants, but even the most persistent sometimes give up and allow themselves this fleeting weakness.
For 34-year-old Victor Munoz from America, his love of fast food has crossed all boundaries. At the age of 5, he first tried a hamburger, and since then other dishes for him have ceased to exist. Victor’s daily diet consists of cheeseburgers, and this is no exaggeration: he eats 4 pieces a day. After some simple calculations, we get frightening numbers – this is as much as 1500 cheeseburgers a year!
“I don’t eat salads, I don’t eat meat or poultry. I do not eat vegetables or fruits. I love fishing, but I don’t eat fish either. I have enough burgers. I know exactly what’s inside. It’s simple, and I really like it, “- said Victor in the Freaky Eaters program on TLC.
In burgers, Muñoz is very finicky, so you have to personally monitor the cooking process. “If they put lettuce, tomatoes or onions in it, I feel cheated. If a piece of onion is attached to a bun, I will throw out half of it, ”he says.
Victor’s food preferences negatively affect the atmosphere in the family. His wife Adriana, unlike her chosen one, loves to try new dishes. She attends cooking classes, develops her cooking skills, but her husband is not interested – he prefers dinners in a burger. Adriana takes the refusal of homemade food to her heart, and the children only add fuel to the fire. They want to eat like a dad, so a woman has to fight for a healthy lifestyle alone.
Undoubtedly, the burger diet greatly affects Victor’s health. He gets 40 kilograms of fat and about 1 to 000 milligrams of sodium per year. Several years ago, doctors diagnosed Muñoz with diabetes.
“The food I eat and the pills I take are fighting each other. I feel bad. I had to choose between pills and cheeseburgers, and unfortunately the cheeseburgers won, ”says Muñoz.
Despite such statements, in the end, family problems and ruined health forced Viktor to seek help from specialists. With experts, he realized that the love of fast food can turn into a serious addiction, and why it is important to stop on time.
