When do you stop infecting with Omicron?

Infection with Omicron in BA.5 sub-option in many people is asymptomatic, therefore it is difficult for a sick person to determine when he can leave home after infection. Scientists do not agree at all on this point. According to American scientists, the isolation period after COVID-19 infection can be completed after five days, while Polish doctors believe that it should be a full week.

The situation is not so simple, because each COVID-19 case is separate. It may therefore turn out that an asymptomatic or scarcely symptomatic person will infect others even after these few days. To determine if it is safe for people to leave the house, the best way is to do a coronavirus test. A quick antigen test will work best in this case.
