The secret of her slimness: 5 favorite dishes of Kate Middleton

The Duchess has three children, and you can’t tell by her – the figure of Prince William’s wife is still as light as before the birth. The secret here, obviously, is in genetics, an active lifestyle, and most importantly – in nutrition.

Kate Middleton does not like to talk about her diet, but occasionally she still confesses her love for a particular food. She herself knows how to cook, and she often does it with her children, but the Duchess has a low opinion of her own culinary abilities: “William has to put up with my cooking,” laughs Kate. He in response picks up the joke: “That’s why I’m so thin.” And here it is – a list of dishes that the beautiful duchess is not indifferent to.

1. Spicy curry

When Kate was seven months pregnant with her first pregnancy, she frequently visited the store run by the Indian couple, Chen and Khash Shingadia. Chen confessed that the spicy curry was especially fond of the Duchess.

“I’m a vegetarian, so I cooked it without meat. It seems that Kate also gravitated towards vegetarian cuisine during her pregnancy, ”said Chen.

And when Kate and William went on a visit to India, the Duchess seized the moment to feast on her favorite dish. Moreover, she prefers a very spicy version of curry – unlike William, who asked to put less spices.

2. Sushi

Once upon a time, Queen Elizabeth imposed a ban on seafood in the palace. But this is not a reason not to love them! During a visit to Japan, both Keith and William ate sushi and sashimi heartily. They were especially impressed by the salmon sashimi. So for sure the duchess no, no, but she violates the royal prohibition at home.

3. Lamb

At the wedding, Kate and William were served with a lamb saddle, so it can be assumed that the couple are not indifferent to this dish. On the other hand, it is possible that the set of dishes is strictly regulated by royal etiquette. For example, a cake for a wedding is supposed to be ordered quite definite. But Kate has repeatedly demonstrated that she loves lamb dishes – chef Vikram Viji even renamed his lamb curry in honor of the Duchess’s visit.

4. Chat

Chutney is a kind of fruit and vegetable sauce of Indian origin. We even have a recipe – HERE. For Kate, this dish is special. When she was first invited to spend Christmas with the royal family, the Duchess was terribly worried, because she had to figure out what to give her Majesty.

“I thought it might be terribly wrong, but I’ll give something to give to my grandparents. I made a pot of chutney according to an old grandmother’s recipe and presented it to the queen, ”said Kate.

The Queen appreciated the gift – the next day the chutney was served at the Christmas table.

5. Popcorn

Yes, it’s that simple. Maybe Kate appreciates popcorn as a source of fiber, or maybe she just loves this popular snack. At sports matches, the paparazzi often filmed how Kate, along with Prince William, ate popcorn from a common bucket with gusto.
