The Rive Gauche chain of perfumery and cosmetics stores has existed on the domestic market since 1995. Its name, which translates as “left bank”, she borrowed from a famous quarter in Paris. The most fashionable, the most elegant and the most glamorous in Paris is located in the Left Bank neighborhoods. That is why in 1970 Yves Saint Laurent named his first prêt-a-porte collection, addressed to the general public, after Rive Gauche, thereby breaking the unshakable foundations of the world of haute couture. Then Rive Gauche boutiques and other collections appeared, and the name itself became world famous.
The Russian RIVE Gauche began with the idea of transferring the spirit of Parisian luxury and charm from the banks of the Seine to the banks of the Neva – this was the original idea of the store creators. The St. Petersburg customers liked the atmosphere of Parisian chic. RIVE Gauche stepped from the banks of the Neva and into other cities of Russia. Today, more than 100 Rive Gauche stores daily conquer the hearts of Russian fashionistas from Kazan to Murmansk, from Arkhangelsk to Sochi, from Petrozavodsk to Tomsk with the widest selection of world famous brands of perfumery and cosmetics, excellent service and creative promotions.
Today there are 43 Rive Gauche stores in St. Petersburg. There are still significantly fewer branded boutiques in Moscow – only 8.
In December 2009, Rive Gauche had 114 stores throughout Russia. 8 of them are located in Moscow and the Moscow region. The most famous ones are in the Tverskoy Passage shopping center, Okhotny Ryad shopping center, ATRIUM, etc.
