The method of study, proposed by the Australians, is based on the readings of stationary sensors, which, according to scientists, record how the bra tissue is deformed during testing.
At this point, the products have already been tested on two women wearing sizes 36D and 38DD, and they noted movement in an amplitude of 6,9 cm in a woman exercising on a treadmill.
Scientists at the University of Ullongong, Australia, have said that women with large breasts are currently unable to participate in research simply because it would be too painful for them.
“Our results show that built-in sensors are well suited to monitor breast movement and assess bra function,” they said in a posting.
According to scientists, now designers of lingerie will be able to accurately determine the effect of one or another component used to make bras.

“A woman needs to find a bra that suits her, and she should not wear the same bra for a long time, and I have talked to some women who have worn the same part of women’s toilet for 10 years,” adds the researcher.
“My observations suggest that when it comes to sports bras, the traditional design, where each breast lies in its own cup, which completely covers it, is more suitable than some of the modern models that rigidly fix the breasts in a bra. to prevent hesitation, ”says Skurr.
