Paracetamol is one of the most popular over-the-counter painkillers in the world. Using it may not be comfortable for everyone. Why? It is not a vegan drug. At least so far there has been no such paracetamol. Now one of the companies boasted of the drug without additives of animal origin.
Currently, there are more vegetarian and vegan products on the market. In pharmacies, however, there are still a huge number of drugs that contain ingredients of animal origin, such as lactose, which is used as a filler, or gelatin, which is used to make capsules.

The Vegan Society, a charity that provides information on various aspects of veganism, has called for years to produce vegan medicinal products. It worked, and the first vegan painkiller was born.

The product contains 500 mg of the active ingredient paracetamol. Magnesium stearate has been replaced with a substance of plant origin. The company’s research has shown that it has the same effect as standard acetaminophen. It is designed to fight fever and relieve pain.

The tablets are currently only available on the German market, but the company plans to sell it also in other countries.
