Method of preparation
Chop the beets, add vinegar, fat, sugar, tomato puree and stew until tender with a small amount of broth. Chopped carrots and onions, cut into half rings, sauté with fat. Put potatoes cut into slices in a boiling broth, bring to a boil, lay chopped cabbage and cook for 10-15 minutes, then add stewed beets and browned vegetables. 5-10 minutes before the end of cooking, sauteed flour diluted with broth or water, sweet pepper, salt, spices are introduced. The finished borscht is seasoned before serving with bacon, rubbed with garlic. It is recommended to release the borscht with beef, pork. Separately, you can serve garlic dumplings.
