More drugs, which will no longer be available on the market, are disappearing from pharmacies and pharmaceutical wholesalers. This is the result of the decision of the Office for Registration of Medicinal Products, which shortened their validity and authorization terms. The list includes, among others one of the manufacturers aspirin.
The President of URPL issued a decision on the shortening of the validity period of the marketing authorization for subsequent drugs. The latest list, which was published in April, lists 32 pharmacological products. Among the items that can no longer be bought, we can find, among others Zofran in the form of a syrup that is used to prevent and inhibit nausea and vomiting in patients after surgery, chemotherapy or radiotherapy. Teva’s aspirin, in the form of gastro-resistant tablets, is also no longer available on the market.

The disappearance of more pharmaceuticals from the shelves in pharmacies can cause many patients a lot of trouble.
