The creator of the diet is Dr. Marek Bardadyn, promoter of anti-aging medicine, author of many bestsellers in the field of nutrition, weight loss and prevention of civilization diseases. Thanks to his vast knowledge and experience, he created a way nutrition in accordance with the principles of healthy eating. Initially, this method was used only in patients with hypertension, diabetes or atherosclerosis, however, it was quickly recognized as perfect also for healthy people, e.g. wanting to lose weight.
Principles of the diet
Structural diet is based on the use of certain products in meals, which are placed on a special list. In order for the effects to be visible, they should constitute at least 70% everything we eat. These foods are specially selected. They contain the least amount of calories and harmful additives for that capacity vitamins, minerals, fiber and antioxidants. Ingredients these accelerate the metabolism, strengthen immunityand even rejuvenate!
The recommended products are primarily:
- seeds and nuts
- vegetable fats
- vegetables and fruits
- cereals and cereal products
- wholesome protein: lean meats, poultry, lean dairy products
We can compose the menu ourselves based on the list structural products, or use Dr. Bardadyn’s menus in variants 800, 1200, 1600 or 2000 kcal (depending on what effect we want to achieve).
However, it must be remembered that in order for this diet to be effective, we must additionally adhere to basic principles of healthy eating how:
- drinking 1,5l of water a day,
- eating 4-5 meals regularly,
- cooking and baking instead of frying
- increasing physical activity
Elixirs of health and youth
A very important element of the structural diet are special cocktails, both sweet and salty, based on juices, soy milk or birch water. They are extremely nutritious. They deliver in every serving a concentrated dose of valuable ingredients.
Potions are supposed to have different effects:
- strongly cleansing of toxins
- chocolate – strengthens the nervous system
- cherry – rejuvenates and reduces wrinkles
- yellow – cleanses toxins and excess cholesterol
- green – slims and speeds up the metabolism
- white – is hypoallergenic, prevents osteoporosis
- orange – replenishes minerals and vitamins
The advantage of elixirs is that they are easy to prepare. They are a great alternative to dinner or lunch.
Diet and the yo-yo effect
Structural Diet is a complete diet and in accordance with the principles of healthy eating. Thanks to the ingredients it contains, the metabolism does not slow down, and sometimes quite the opposite. If we introduce structural products into our diet permanently, and not only for the period of weight loss, then the risk of the yo-yo effect is minimal.
Phenomenon?
Undoubtedly, the structural diet stands out from other popular diets. It provides all the necessary nutrients, has a positive effect on health, allows you to stay young and lose weight without the yo-yo effect. Unfortunately, it also has disadvantages as too low calorific value (if we choose the 800 or 1200 kcal variants), so we can do it without any health risk use for a maximum of 2 weeks. It is also not a diet that is suitable for young people as it provides too little proteinwhich can inhibit development. Although the structural diet has many advantages, it is not individualized, which means that it is not properly adjusted to the needs of individual people. The ingredients of elixirs (e.g. fucus, rice milk, cane molasses etc.) are difficult to find in smaller towns and quite expensive. In addition, supporters of the structural diet often forget about healthy principles and consume only cocktails that, although nutritious, do not provide all the necessary ingredients for the functioning on their own.
