54 percent Polish adults were vaccinated with the first dose or registered for vaccination against COVID-19, Minister Michał Dworczyk reported. At the same time, he informed that the number of registrations was falling, and doses were waiting, because there were no people willing to receive an injection.
Vaccinations against COVID-19 in Poland. There are fewer and fewer applicants, the doses are waiting
The minister said that we are seeing a drop in the number of registrations for vaccinations. – Today, the biggest challenge is persuading Poles to vaccinate, because the registration rate is slowing down; This week, nearly 1 million doses of the vaccine did not go to the points, because there are no people interested in vaccinations – said the head of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, Michał Dworczyk. – Again, we recorded a week-to-week decline of 30 percent. Last week it was 49 thousand. people per day who registered. This is, of course, a very disturbing phenomenon – added.
He indicated that nearly 1 million doses of the vaccine did not go to points this weekbecause vaccination centers dropped almost 1 million doses because “there are no people interested in vaccinations”.
As Dworczyk said, it is also for this reason that the first public vaccination points are signaling that they will be closed. He noted that the burden of vaccination will be taken over by population points, including POZ-you.
In addition – as he informed in the 70+ age group, over 77 percent. people are registered or vaccinated, in the 60+ group it is 67%. among all people in this group.
Dworczyk added that the percentage of registered or already vaccinated Poles is falling in ever younger age groups.
