In just a day, another 57 cases of coronavirus infection were recorded in the country.
The operational headquarters for the fight against coronavirus in Russia reported that the number of patients increased to 495 per day. In total, 57 patients were identified in 14 regions in which the diagnosis was confirmed.
According to TASS, the headquarters noted that the number of infected people in Moscow increased by 28 people. In total, 290 infected with the infection have already been recorded in the capital.
But there is good news: 5 people were discharged from hospitals in a day. In total, there are already twenty-two who have recovered from COVID-19 in the country.
It is noteworthy that all 57 infected returned from other countries or had contact with those who recently arrived home. They were hospitalized and isolated in special boxes in hospitals. A circle of close contacts of patients has already been established. All of them are under medical supervision.
Earlier, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin called on elderly Russians who are at risk to comply with the conditions of quarantine, and their relatives to help them whenever possible.
