The Situation in Israel. Why is the number of infections increasing?

However, the unexpected increase in the number of COVID-19 infections in Israel has led to the return to this restriction being reconsidered.

On Tuesday, there were 434 active cases of the coronavirus in the country, more than 78 of which were children. Infections were also reported among soldiers, despite the fact that they had been vaccinated against COVID-19.
The Minister of Health strongly recommends vaccinating adolescents over 12 years of age as soon as possible. It has only been possible recently, which is why the percentage of people vaccinated in Israel is lower in this group.
