The nationwide campaign “Disease is not a sentence” is launched

We invite you to familiarize yourself with the educational campaign “Disease is not a judgment” published by Medical Media Solutions, of which we are a Partner. Check out the “Illness is not a sentence” campaign. The publication comes out on November 30, that is today, together with the Rzeczpospolita daily.

The publication opens with a statement by dr hab. med. Aleksander Garlicki – Head of the Department of Infectious Diseases Collegium Medicum of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow on HCV and methods of treating patients with hepatitis C.

The face of the campaign is Anna Korcz – a Polish actress who supports the campaign “Ovarian diagnostics – your story does not have to be malicious”.

One of the most important topics of the publication is the prevention of breast cancer. We talk to Ms Elżbieta Kozik – the president of the Polskie Amazonki Ruch Społeczny organization and mgr Adrianna Sobol – a psycho-oncologist at the Magodent Oncology Hospital about the importance of education and patient support.

We also recommend you to read the details of the project “Prevention of HCV infections, which aims to increase social awareness in the context of HCV infections. The project is financed by SPPW and the Minister of Health.

Igor Grzesiak – Member of the Board of the Institute of Patient Rights and Health Education will introduce you to the subject of the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV).

In the pages of the publication you will also find an interview with Prof. dr hab. Jacek Fijuth – President of the Polish Cancer Society, Szymon Chrostowski – President of the Polish Coalition of Oncological Patients and Dr. Janusz Meder – President of the Polish Oncology Union.

Thanks to the invited experts, the publication is to support, educate and encourage discussion on prevention, the need to perform regular examinations, diagnostics and modern treatment methods.
