According to American scientists, eating before bedtime can be useful, but only if that food is cheese.

Thus, in their study, the research staff at the University of Florida have proven that the cheese helps to burn fat during sleep. And that it can effectively help to get rid of fat for people with excess body weight.

Scientists have organized an experiment with volunteers. People ate cottage cheese 30-60 minutes before bedtime. The researchers conducted an analysis of changes in the body of participants. And they have found that due to the presence in the cheese of a substance called “casein”, the body expended more energy in the digestion process. And, consequently, lost fat.

The fact is that the casein is responsible for the regulation of the thermal effect of food and digested in the most efficient manner that is in the use of this product before bedtime.

However, it is not necessary to eat cottage cheese directly in the beds and in large quantities. Preferably 1 hour before sleep. And it must be the cheese in its pure form, not meals out of it – sweet cheese or casseroles.
