Let’s see how not to furnish the heart of the house – the kitchen.

In order to understand how not to make repairs, it is not at all necessary to go to apartments and look for advantages and disadvantages. To do this, you can go to the website for the sale of furniture and see what other apartment owners have done, who are trying to get rid of unnecessary headsets. Let’s take a look at kitchens that their owners no longer like, and see why we don’t need to do the same.

Technique that does not match the style of the kitchen

The seller offers this kitchen along with the appliances. It is not surprising that the owner himself was tired of such an unfortunate interior. A huge monotonous typeface is too boring. And the refrigerator and dishwasher do not fit at all in size. In addition, the color of cold steel does not match the yellow-green matt shade. It is strange that the floor and ceiling are divided into zones, and the apron and the wall are designed for a single room.

Dark furniture

With dark cabinets, you can create a stylish and elegant interior. However, you need to understand that deep shades are quite difficult to complement with the rest of the decor. In Khrushchev, it is better to abandon black and brown kitchens, because visually it will become even smaller. If you really like deep tones, then they need to be diluted with light facades in a 1: 1 ratio. In this room, even a white work surface and floors do not save.

Partition in the kitchen

In this version, the owner tried to make the kitchen as isolated as possible, and he succeeded. The two adjoining rooms are decorated in completely different styles. The room behind the mosaic partition looks like from the neighboring apartment. Warm wine and cold gray tones of the kitchen do not match the natural shades of wood behind the partition. An overabundance of details in the design makes it difficult to concentrate on one thing. The feeling that the zones were set up by completely different people, not guessing how the next room would be decorated.

Incorrectly aged furniture

There are many vintage options, and one of them is faux-aged furniture. Such lockers create a special comfort for the room and make a picture from an ancient book out of the room. Even a kitchen made of compressed shavings can be imitated under a natural old wood. But, unfortunately, not all options look decent. The furniture in the photo is aged as if it had simply not been wiped off grease and dirt for a long time.

Black hole in the white kitchen

When paired, black and white colors create a unique interior: catchy, spectacular, contrasting. But this is precisely why this combination is dangerous. In our version, a dark apron and a black work table give the impression of a lost space. An unknown cave that can spoil the mood of any hostess. Note that deep gray is not supported anywhere else in the interior, which suggests that the overall stylistic decision was not thought out.

Obviously cheap stuff

Modern technologies have gone so far that now kitchen furniture made of chrome-plated metal, with natural stone, with glass surfaces is being sold. The choice is huge, even in the budget sector. Do not choose furniture with a surface similar to self-adhesive paper.

Expensively rich

The obvious imitations of natural wood with inlay, stained-glass windows and a large number of small, seemingly stylized details look just as ridiculous. For rich kitchens, an expensive apron is necessarily made, lighting is thought out, refined fittings and expensive plumbing are built in. Otherwise, the expensive-rich style becomes tasteless.

Bright color

Don’t be afraid of bright colors. It is not at all necessary to use only natural colors and natural materials in the heart of the house. The color of dark coral is very appetizing for the kitchen, but cheap linoleum spoils everything. Suppose there was a glossy white floor that matches the side walls of the headset, and pure paints would play differently. And the room is also very disturbed by the hinged upper shelves, which make the ceiling incredibly low.

Piling up around the window

Housewives love to have a work area near the window. In old apartments, this zone is quite small, which is why you should not put the wall in two tiers. A two-row layout with hanging cabinets makes the room dark and cluttered. You should know that it is not recommended to hang even heavy curtains in a small kitchen.

Chess facade

Such a cuisine will only inspire a chess grandmaster. Any two contrasting colors, arranged in checkerboard order, give a small room a messy look. Small details in such an interior are not appropriate, and in the kitchen it is almost impossible. If you like this contrast, then lay the tiles diagonally on the floor in diametrically opposite tones. But then, with the help of calm furniture, smooth out the variegation of the floor.
