They usually live in captivity and are perfectly trainable, capable of speaking several dozen words. And they do it in such a loud voice that not everyone likes it.
5. Lori hermit blue has a rather modest size. This very rare bird is included in the Red Book. The parrot has a dark blue head, wings and back, a bright orange beak and a whitish breast. This extraordinary beauty of coloring became the reason for their inclusion in the Red Book due to the capture in large quantities. The hermit lives on the Tuamotu island, lives on a palm tree, feeds on nectar and bugs.
